Dedicated Truck Driver Requirements at U.S. Xpress

To qualify for a dedicated driving position, you must:

  • Hold a valid Class A CDL and be at least 21 years old
  • Have 3+ months of verifiable driving experience
  • Have no more than:
    • 1 preventable CMV accident in the past 2 years
    • 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
  • No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years
  • No DUI/DWI within:
    • 5 years (non-CDL)
    • 10 years (while holding a CDL)
  • Pass a DOT physical and drug screening
  • No drug-related convictions in the last 5 years (10 years with CDL)
  • No failed/refused drug tests in the past 10 years
